In Memoriam
Kirkmarsh Ellie
(Ellie)
What can we say about this lovely little bitch, who we only had
the enjoyment of for nearly three years. Ellie was one of Teasel’s puppies from her first litter, and
although Melvyn did a little gundog work with her early on, she was never really
that keen about the work and as she got to about two years old she decided that
it was not for her. She was more interested in being a very loving sweet girl to
whom would ever let her sit on their knee, which was great, she got so much out
of it and so did our visitors, every body just loved her. So Ellie became our
pet dog, and she just enjoyed meeting and greeting people, until the change of
temperament came, then we could only protect her from any accidents, but we knew
that we could not do this for long, as our vet diagnosed Ellie with a brain
tumour, which was making her aggressive now and again to people and our dogs.
Ellie will always have a special place in our hearts, and always be thought of for her loving ways.
